CHRIS BRAIDEN'S MINDSET
There are over 800,000
coppers in North America. We don't get enough mileage out of their brains
because we program them to clone a generic model. |

Police Leadership What You've Got Is What You Get
Obviously police leaders should come through the ranks and know policing from the ground up.
The trouble is that once they get above the ground level they enter a police leadership culture that tends to forget its roots.
That leadership culture encourages new leaders to cast themselves in its own image. We've been subjected to managerial in-breeding.
Leadership means leading, and leading is more than simply commanding. In order to lead you have to convince people that you're worth following. You can't just order them to believe in you.
